This is our newest herd sire, we would like to thank Calvin Taylor of Rolling Acres , Shelbyville, TX for breeding this great looking buck. We love his bone, breed character, body volume and this picture does not do him justice. He also has a great personality and we cannot wait until we see his kids. We will be putting him in with the girls in July, so Christmas is always exciting at our house. He came with 29 points and we will continue his show career, but his job comes first, so he may not be in great show shape when you see him at the shows. |

 Joshua's First Kids, Tripletts, 2 Doe's and a Buck, DOB 1/20/08 Beautiful Buck, was shown at the North Missouri Boer Goat Show held in Chillicothie, MO on 19 and 20 May 2007. He placed 3rd on both days, Judges were David Carwell and Tracy Kiehl. He weighed 125 lbs. on 12 June 2007 for an average daily gain of .73 lbs. per day. Picture was taken 21 Aug 2007. UPDATE 5 Aug 07: Joshua placed first in the 6 - 9 month old Buck Class at the Ozark Empire Fair, Springfield, MO on 3 Aug 07. He then went on to be the Junior Reserve Champion Buck. Judge was Julie Brown from Florida. UPDATE 21 Aug 07: Joshua placed first at MO State Fair in Sedalia, Judge Chip Kemp, he also placed first at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, IA, Judge was Norman Kohl. Yogi and Joshua won best pair of bucks at the Iowa State Fair.
ONE MORE UPDATE 20 Oct 07:
On the 29th of September Joshua won Junior Reserve Champion In Harrison, AR at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair, Judge was Barry Watts. He won First Place at the AR Meat Goat Association Show in Harrison, AR on the 30th of September, Judge was Tom Dugas.
Joshua is still winning even after going into the 9 – 12 month old class and being one of the youngest in the class. The Judge was Doug Glosser, he won Reserve Grand Champion Buck. Then he and Dancing Bear won Best Pair of Bucks.
Joshua has accumulated 45 points towards ennoblement. |

It is with such great sadness that I must convey DSM Richard crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 15 Dec 2007. He was a wonderful, gorgeous buck, always a gentleman, and he will remain in our hearts forever. Our herd is made up mainly of his Daughters and Grandaughters so he will continue to have an enormous influence in our genetics. We will MISS HIM!

Killian's Double Impact
Killian's Double Impact was our second herd sire. He was the sire of many of our Doe's that we still have in our breeding program. He is a double bred Eggsfile Grandson.
We sold Double Impact a couple of years ago. We got word in Feb 2007 that he has died. Was fine that night and found dead the next morning. We are so sad to learn of this news and our condolences go out to the owners. He would have been 6 years old 20 March 2007. |

Picture taken 06/30/19 Way back in 2011 we took 9 Doe's to be bred to CSB Broken S Smokin Hot Ruger **Ennobled**. Only 2 took, thus about all we got was Bear Creek BC A580 Smokin Hot Gator. Gator went to Canada November 2014, so, Bear Creek BC D827 Gator's Dundee is who we chose to carry on the Smokin Hot Ruger Line. We have several of his kids born Dec 2016, Jan 2017, Dec 2017 and Dec 2018, we are very pleased with them. His sister Bear Creek BC D826 Gator's Scarlett placed 9th at the 2015 ABGA National Show. The above description has been on our herdsire page, but, NOW we are offering him for sale.
He has 2 clean teats widely separated on each side; his bite is off a bit. His Dam was one of our show doe's and you can see her by going to our herdsire page and looking at her sire's post Bar None 5's Jack Blue.
We have sold 29 of his kids for $25,600.00. I know that is not much when some folks sell 1 Goat for that much and more, but, we have been very pleased with his progeny. That averages $882.76 per goat, but, many of them sold for $1500.00.

20 June 2019 UPDATE: Dundee weighed 310 lbs. on 7 June 2019.
7 October 2019 UPDATE: Breeding season should be getting into full swing and my dream for Dundee is to have a big herd of Doe's. I have scared off a couple of interested folks by telling them Dundee is pushy, I would not say mean, he will be 5 years old in Dec 2019 no one has been hurt and we still have our barns, but, he is NOT your backyard pet. So, heads up to commercial goat ranchers, I sincerely believe Dundee can help you get your kids to market weight at weaning age AND for the interested show folks he can add the pretty to your Doe's and give you potential wether prospects to sell to the 4-H and FFA kids. Hurry, come check him out and see if he is the Buck for your Herd.

He weighed 84 lbs. on 9 June 2016 for a .55 ADG. We gave him 2 Doe's to breed last year and we got a single out of a yearling and triplets out of a older Doe. I totally "love" those big wide muzzles that we get from Bear Creek BC D817 Argo genetics.
Bear Creek BC G1006 Git-R-Dun was one of his sons, he weighed 121 lbs. on 30 June 2017 for a .68 ADG. Chore Boy is very wide and big boned.
UPDATE 5 December 2017: Chore Boy weighed 227 lbs on 30 Nov 2017.
We are using him again for our 2017 breeding season.

Been struggling with keep or sell. Of course I want to keep (G), BUT, due to our herd size that we "should" be making smaller, plus we typically use 5 - 7 bucks per year, that does not give any of the Bucks enough work to show their potential. So, for now, 08/30/2017, we are offering Chore Boy for sale.
